Story
After years of carelessly flicking his tail around the ocean Ashley became bored of his life, feeling like there was something missing in it and after searching a sunken ship and finding a bunch of love notes Ashley realized what it was. He wanted to know what love felt like, fueled by this ambition he took off to find a sea witch to strike a deal with which they quickly agreed apon.
Ashley would be able to have legs for three years and in that time he must find true love, and not all that sort of seeled with a first kiss stuff, he actually had to be told by the person that they loved him and mean it, he would lose his imortality and be able to keep his legs(and tail if he wished) in exchange if he did not do so Ashely would return to the sea witch and surrender his erternality to her and therefore the witch would gain it (Seeing as other merfolk had obviously failed before it would could as another life) The process of this would also kill him.

There were however a few underlying conditions of this deal
1. If he were to touch water he would instantly gain his mer-features back (tail, lace like detail between fingers)
and
2. He had to keep his ears (which Ashley wasn't aware of)

So now Ash is left to search the globe for true love before time runs out. Though he would be more than happy to have close friends with others "I had a good life here. That's all I really need." He was taken into care by a wiccan and her husband. Who found him scared and confused when he first gained his legs. He had freaked out immensly when it had began to rain and he his tail came back. People had screamed and run leaving him to try and struggle off the pathway and away from the screaming and yelling. He even had to bat off a few people running up to him and grabbing his tail screaming it was a "scientific discovery" and about how they would be famous. Tara and her husband gradually managed to get him out of his shell. They suggested the idea of him enrolling in Osen Academy which he warmed up to eventually.
